I was wondering if anyone knows if a 1999 Dodge Stratus has reverse polarity door locks? I am having someone install my remote starter that comes with remote entry and would like to know if I need to purchase an additional T-harness. The starter comes with a relay but I'm not sure if the locks will require additional equipment. Thanks....out in the cold

now it has a one wire setup that is positive. it is easy to set up i have the same car and it takes a little longer but not to long..

anyways here goes follow this and your 'll be fine.

first of all it is possitive

so set up two relays the same as i am about to state .

set up two negative polarity to possitive pollarity relays using pin 85 as your input from the lock wires of the alarm.

the output wire  from each relay has to have a resistor connected to it the lock requires a possitive pulse through a 620 ohm resistor and unlock requires a possitive pulse relay through a 2.7k ohm resistor to unlock must use relays this wire color is white /green if you meter it you will get the resistance i have told you for each lock and unlock or close but these will work for you it only has to be close to the needed value.  and more help email me personally.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
