I am having trouble with the pass system(locating wires and coloursof pass1) on a 1997 cadilac deville I am new to the site and fairly new to GM. If  any one could point me in the right direction in would be a huge help. Thanks I am using a pljx self learning resistor code interface

Look for an orange plastic sleeve which comes down from the ignition switch towards the center console and at one end near the connector you'll see a PURPLE / white and a WHITE/ black. These are the wires you'll interface with.

Just make sure you're not in the yellow sleeved airbag wires!

thank you very much for your quick response. I am asuming one is a ground wire and the other is a reference(resistance wire) and I don't realy need the pljx interface . Thanks again
