I have an Audiovox VOD705K, came out of a 2004 Kia Sedona.

No wiring harness.  The unit has 2 connectors an 18 pin and an 8 pin.  The 8 pin is for the FM modulator which I don't need.

I only need to find the +12 and ground on the 18 pin connector so I can hook up the power.  I am just trying to test the unit right now for power and playback, before I try and install.

Anyone have the pinouts or wiring schematic for the unit itself.  I have the installation manual but it just shows the harness hooked to the unit and does not show where the individual wires go.

Thanks

I received this without any harness.  The owner bought a bigger unit and used the harness.  And I don't have access to him or his van to take a look.

I called Kia and they won't help since the Kia I am putting it it did not come with it.  Kia asked for my VIN and told me my van did not have a DVD player, and that was that with them.  I do have an email into Audiovox, they did sell  generic wiring connectors with this model.  But so far they can't locate one they can sell.  They have not responed to a request for the pinouts.

Right now I just want to hook up 12 volts to make sure it works ok before going to all the trouble of installing it.
