Hey gang...new here and wish I knew about this site a loooooong time ago. It would have saved me a lot of headaches. I hope your camera is working fine.

Anyway, my friend had a bec104 installed in his car and is experiencing static on the picture. The camera is routed to the rear. I am suspecting that the camera may have been routed too close to some power lines or something. What other possibilities could there be? I do not know the type of picture the BEC104 produces and if it is normal. I hope the wire is not damaged. Should the cable be shielded? I hope not though. Most importantly, I hope the camera is not damaged.

Any help is apprecitated.
