I have an AVIC-N1 installed in my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 and it seems like the unit decides itself when to diplay the time and when not to with the screen closed. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do you fix it?
The second problem i have is that my N1 quit playing audio CD's, it still reads the navigation discs and movies but not MP3's, WMA, WAV, ect. Any ideas?
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

I believe there was a bug in the early versions of the software that caused it to not display the time between 8 and 10 pm.  Not sure on your other problem

Ya, the other problem sounds like an issue I had with a DVD-Rom in my computer. It would read and even burn to DVD but would not read or burn regular CD's. It sounds like it'd be able to happen to other CD readers though....

If you register your unit on their site, they should send you the last version of that software
