I have been researching for a few days now and am not getting too far. I have a 2010 Toyota Rav4 with the "G" key but no smart key. I want to splice in as little amount of wire as possible so was going to go with the xpresskit. I have read over the instructions and all but it is not clear exactly what I need to get to hook it all up.
I want remote start that is it. If it is the same price for an alarm then that works as well. I would rather just use the factory key but a second key fob for further distance is fine. The questions I have are what modules and parts do I need to get and do I hook it up in D2D eliminating some wiring and if so is there something else that I need to purchase as well. I have done remote starts in the past but wanted to try out the xpresskit setup with one of their starters unless there is a different starter that will work with theirs great and save me money. Thanks for the help in advance!

Ok it looks like I need the following. Let me know if any of it is un needed or if there is something that I am missing.
DB-ALL
Avital 5303 remote start/keyless entry 2-way
XKLoader2 interface
Do I also need some sort of bypass or anything? Thanks and hopefully someone knows so I can order this stuff up tonight.

This install guide from iDatalink for their bypass module should help. It gives the necessary ignition wires and Parking Light
wire locations and colors.

The DB-ALL does not handle the locks and factory alarm, so those will have to be hard-wired from the Avital to the RAV4.
The DB-ALL flashed with 401.TL4 v1.15 does the transponder bypass and other things. Here is a link to the install guide :

Check on Page 2 for exact features supported.
Soldering is fun!
