Code Alarm Elite 4500 in a '95 Honda Civi

• The siren's 12 volts has to be constant.
• The valet need one ground and the other coming fromt he unit will be (+)
• Use one of the (-) trigger wires for the door and the other for the hood/trunk
• If you can give us the other wires that are on the unit's case we can help with those as well.
• Here's a wiring diagram for the car and all you need to do is to match the wires on the harness with the wire colors on the case.:

Until you post your wire colors on the alarm, I can't really help you. Post the wires and the colors and we'll go from there.

THEN THERE ARE 2 SENSOR PORTS, ONE HAS 4 WIRES, AND THE OTHER HAS 3 WIRES (IT'S CALLED SENSOR PORT, ARMED OUTPUT (-) )AND THERE'S A PLUG IN THE BOX THAT FITS THAT PORT, BUT IT HAS 1 BLACK WIRE COMING FROM IT. THERE'S A BLADE PLUG CALLED STARTER MOTOR WITH A WHITE WIRE AND ONE CALLED STARTER KEY WITH A WHT/RED WIRE. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU HELP ME. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!!

The BOLD lettering is the wires that you need to hook up on the Civic to the Code Alarm. I'm not sure about the sensor ports probably a dual zone impact sensor and a perimeter sensor input. As for the blade plug, it's a starter diasable circuit and from the sounds of it, it may have a relay built into it. All you need to do cut your starter wire in half ( BLACK/ WHITE ) and attach the KEY side to the STARTER KEY and the motor side to the STARTER MOTOR. Try to start your car after doing this, if it does start then there is a built in relay if it does not start the you will need to wire a relay in place: https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page2.asp#sk1 but make sure that you try this after everything is installed and working.

Check these two again and then grab the wire that comes off the driver side door switch and connect to the one that is (-). Tape up the (+) trigger wire between the two

9 - BLK/GRN - AUX OUT (-)------------------ This is a wire that will allow you to add such things as a power trunk release or control any device with a relay that uses a (-) input.

thanks so much for this information. I'm going to go out and work on it now. One thing though, 7 and 8 both say (-) trigger on the wiring diagram on the side of the brain. I'll post when I'm done working on it today to let you know how things go.

I do not have access to the programming manual for this alarm system. Chances are if the remote control does turn off the alarm, but only when the car is in the ignition position the remote will not have to be programmed. Make sure that your # 17 wire is in fact a switched 12 volts and that your # 22 wire is a constant wire.
