no power to HU

i hooked up my pioneer dehp9300r and theres absolutely no power running to it...well at least i dont think theres any power running to it. im positive i hooked it up right. it doesnt even turn on...i checked the fuses and resistors and everything is fine. can someone help me find out whats wrong with my deck? it worked before. is there a way i can check if my deck is still any good? thanks.

get a dmm and check power and ground...i would start there ...did you solder...connectors...?

i hooked up a dvom to the power and ground....its reading voltage. should i just toss out the deck or send it to pioneer to get it checked?

Make sure the harness is securly plugged in, double check the fuses in the back of the head unit.

And make sure you have connected both power leads.  Did you use a wiring harness adapter?  What car?

Check to make sure you have 12V to the memory wire with your meter between the memory and the ground wire. DON'T stick it to ground, cuz then you won't know if you have a complete path there. IF you don't, then check it to ground on the car. if you get power you have a bad ground. IF you have power turn the key to ACC and check to make sure you have power between the ACC and ground wire. IF not and you had power with the memory and ground then your ACC wire connection is bad someplace. you need to use process of elimination to figure this out, don't just jump and say that the HU is bad.

i installed the HU in a 97 integra. i would prefer to use a wiring harness but the previous owner already cut up all the wires..i had to get the schematic for my car and go from there.
