Ive got a 91 buick reatta that ive been fighting with. 3.8L V6 TPI.   it ran pretty good for a little while, the started to get a little flakey when you started drawing a lot of power, ie AC, rear defog, brights, etc. but it wouldnt stall so long as you kept the RPM up.  the last time it ran, it was a rather cool morning,  it ran just fine, poped up the headlights, bogged a little and came back, then hit the rear defog, and it quit, and hasnt started since.  tried jumping it, nothin. its got spark, its got compression, and its got fuel. though, the spark is a little weak, but should still be enough to get a bark out of it. so far, harmonic balancer has been changed, crank sensor is new, new ignition coil pack, plug wires and plugs. no changes. if anybody has delt with reattas or knows anything, Id love info

Flaky alternator, bad ground on engine sensors (tie together near starter - corrosion)computer shot.  Had similar problem with corsica, cleaned the grounds and tightened them up, worked good.

You need to perform an AVR test on the electrical system at load and off load.
That would be the base line to start.
