I recently purchased a Predator 3501 car starter and am trying to install in a 95 Ford Contour. I have checked the wiring and it is all correct but the remote starter will not accept RPM programming.
This Contour has a distributorless ignition. Do you know where I can get more information to find out if this car starter will work in this car?

The tach wire is behind the instrument cluster.  Remove the screws holding in the black trim with the vents in it.  The remove the screws holding the cluster in.  There are two wiring harnesses on the back of the cluster.  Even if the cluster doesn't have a tach on it the tach wire is still in the wiring harness.  It's a white wire with black stripe.  Splice in and you're good.  If you have more questions you can take a look at our site.  http://www.contour.org
