I am installing a cruise control for my truck. I have never done one before. I have done several remote car starter/keyless entry systems before and car audio. I am looking for a wireing diagram for my truck for the connections i need for cruise control.. ie break pettal, VSS, i can get a list if needed:-)
Thanks

Don't know what kind of Cruise you are installing ( hope it's ROSTRA or Audiovox )

Try:
http://www.rostra.com/cruise-control.htm

VSS Wire: LOCATION 11- WHITE 32 PIN CONNECTOR OF PCM POSITION B27

VSS Wire Color: WHITE/ ORANGE
VSS Pulse: 8000
VSS Tach Wire: LOCATION 11- BLACK 32 PIN CONNECTOR OF PCM POSITION A7
Tach Signal Wire Color: BLACK/ GRAY
Brake Switch Positive: PINK/BLUE
Brake Switch Negative: WHITE/ TAN

P.S. You should use a Clutch Kit also

ok since this is what i am installing

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/showCustom-0/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2001597/c-10101/Nty-1/p-2001597/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/N-10101/tf-Browse/s-10101/Ntk-AllTextSearchGroup?Ntt=cruise%20control

The electrical connectinos i will need to make are to the truck are

VSS; Tach; Break Peddle; Clutch; Ground, Power, and Ignition? these are aside from the connectons to the cruise module and so forth. they are just the connections i make to the Car?

I ask this cause the DISTRUCTIONS! 2001 Dodge Dakota V6 5speed -- posted image. aren't very good!!

Thanks again for all the help!!

As far as Wiring:

That is it..............VSS;  Tach ( some are not needed );   Break Petal ( Cold side ); Clutch ( switch kit needed ); Ground, Power, and Ignition

Other than Clutch Switch Kit, it is a pretty straight forward install
