I am unable to post a new topic on my computer at home. I posted this message at work and it works fine. I' m running XP at home while this computer has 2000. That's the only difference. When I try to post a new topic there is no message field. Everything else is there, but nowhere to post a message. Any ideas anybody?

Is your home computer in Afghanistan too? j/k...  Are you using Internet Explorer at home? If so and if you are running any third party software that blocks advertisements, it may also be blocking IFrames (in-line frames).  If this is the case, try adding the12volt.com to your list of trusted sites.  You may also want to check that you do not have IFrames disabled in Internet Explorer by clicking on Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level, then scroll down to "Launching programs and files in an IFrame" and make sure you have "prompt" or "enable" checked.

I'm running Spy Sweeper. I tried  shutting it down but it made no difference. There doesn't seem to be a setting in it for iFrames. Any other ideas?

Try this for starters... In Internet Explorer click on Tools, then Internet Options, then the Security tab, then Custom Level, then scroll down to "Launching programs and files in an IFrame" and make sure you have "prompt" or "enable" checked. If that doesn't solve your problem after you restart IE, try setting your security level to Medium in IE. If that still doesn't work, let me know and I'll try searching for other answers. BTW, if you have another browser on your home machine, do you experience the same problem with it?

No, I don't have another browser. I really don't want to get into that, having to use another browser just  to use this forum.

Having another browser would help with troubleshooting your problem, but shouldn't be necessary to use this forum. What are your browser security settings set on? Medium? High?... Have you tried resetting it to the default setting after turning off Spy Sweeper and restarting IE? What anti-virus software are you running?

Security is on medium. Did reset it to default. Using Norton anti-virus. I guess I could try another browser. What do you suggest?
