anyone got a trick to stop a rearview mirror from rattling

About the only thing I have found to work, and it works 100% of the time.  Remove the woofer box.   

When you say rattling, are you talking about an audible rattle?   Or are you referring to the vibration.

lol, I mean the vibration fronm the bass. the mirror itself rattles real bad where it connects to the neck, I was thiking of taking it apart and trying to put some dynamat pieces aournd the ball joint area.

If you are having to reposition it from the vibration, you may want to try cutting up a bicycle tube or some other thin rubber material.  Dynamat is going to be a bit thick.  This may stop it from shifting, but there is nothing you can do to stop the vibration.

Yes there is! iaai if he uses a windhield that is 3" +thick, that could absorb the vibration and prevent the neck from bouncing around!
