My question is how do you attach the closed cell foam to the inside of the door...
If you put a layer of foam into the door you'd need some type of adhesive so it doesn't get caught up when rolling the windows up and down. Also, I'm in the midwest so I'll be seeing in-car temps ranging from -30 to 130F.
I've never seen this discussed so I had to ask before I deaden my doors next week. I have a 2 door Grand Am and those things are huge. I'll be doing a layer of Raamat or Second Skin with one (or two) thick layers of closed cell. I've done a lot of reading but any advice is appreciated.

Wouldn't a thicker foam make more sense, or is density the key? Is there some sort of "rating" on these products? I'd imagine I could get some of the thicker stuff like below:
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?Partnumber=260-515&raid=54&rak=260-515
3 sq ft for $6.65 2.5" thick
Or do the more thin, which would be easier to install but I find it hard to believe it does an equal/better job than the thick.
http://www.secondskinaudio.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?pg=3&p=ps
9 sq ft for $11.98 .125" thick
http://www.raamaudio.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?p=pr
42 sq ft for $11.96 .125" thick

My mistake, the pe stuff is open cell. Is there a thick, yet affordable option?
