i installed a new set of HID's in my 2006 mustang. they work great when the cars not running. as soon as i start the car they flip on and off for a bit and then turn off completely. i checked the volts when the car was running and when it was off, and had the same voltage going to the lights, any clues on what to do?

Describe to us please, "how" you have the ballasts wired! where did you get ground, where did you get 12v, what did you use as the trigger.

How is your relay wired... etc.

i used the 12v and ground from the stock head light wiring. the stock harness has 3 wires, a ground, a 12v for low beams, and a 12v for highs.
