K guys,

this might sound dumb to ask - but I want to put a delay in my headlights...   so that they wait about 5sec then come on.

Where do I start on building something like that?

That sounds like something you can do with a pulse relay timer or you can wait 5 seconds after you decide to turn on your headlights then turn them onDelayed Headlights -- posted image.. Anyways, you can find the prt  at tweeter for about 20 dollars. If you could post a little more information as to what this delay is to accomplish there may be a simpler solution.

ya sorry for not explaining it better...

I want to add aftermarket HID's and I don't want them coming on till after its started at night - cause the car has auto headlights when its dark.
