So just this last weekend a friend of mine rear-ended me because apparently my brake lights don't work.  My running lights work fine, both turn signals work fine, as well as my hazards.....  I checked all the fuses in the dash as well as in the engine compartment.  Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated :)      oh, I drive a 2002 Chevy Blazer LS if that makes any difference....

From one Mn'r to the other... check to see if you get 12v at at a white wire in the steering column (or if ya can get to it the white wire at the brake switch just above the pedal) when you depress the brake pedal... If you have that then start at the rear and work forward look for 12v when the brake is pressed (use a brick or something to keep the pedal down) and back trace the wires... with both of them out I would have to say it's probably the brake switch...

So i checked the checked the brake switch and found that the two white brake light leads had some how gotten torn out of the harness that plugs into the brake switch.  So i got those back in to the harness and my brakes work fine now. thanks for your help Hymer.
