hey guys ...i havent had a post in a long time! I had a customer that came in who attempted to hook up his own fog lights! He tapped into the r.f. parking light for power! it melted the harness that plugs into the back of the head-light switch and blew the turn signal fuse as well as the trailer fuse under the dash! when you replace the main 40 amp fuse as soon as you push/plug it in, the parking lights automatically come on and 2 seconds later it blows the main fuse...what/where are the lights controlled from...any help im sure the customer would be in debt...young kid w/ not alot of money! Thanks in advance for the time and effort

some of them factory headlight wires a shorted out....replace the melted torn up sections of wire.

Get your constant from the darn battery, and use a relay, triggered negative from a good switch. the amperage provided by the headlight wire, won't support the extra needs of the fog lights.
