I'm trying to convert my 04 dodge ram 3500 to hid.I have tried the 1k ohm resister between the low beam and ground but I'm not getting a constant 12 volts it is more like a flasher on off on off on off on.I found that if I hook up 2 test lights to the factory light plug it (the light)lights up and stays working.I need a constant 12 volts to turn the relay on to turn the hid ballast on.I think if I can fix the flashing problem from the truck it will fix all my problems.any and all help would be greatly appreciated.if you could send me a drawn out wiring diagram and a list of stuff that I need that would be great.
thanks

Get your "constant" 12 volts from your battery.

I need help with my HIDs in my 05 Dodge Ram. The company sent me a "digital harness" that plugs into my open headlight harness. Then the other end gets t-tapped into the other headlight harness. This harness connects the two grounds and the low beam positives. But my light out indicator is still flasing on the dash.

the only way to get the lamp out light to go out and stay out is to wire in another light in with the hid kit.i went to a truck stop and got 2 little lights that could be mountod under the truck and then spray painted them black so they would not be seen. the bulb need to be like a 1157.this puts just enough res.on the system to tell the computer that the lights are working correctly.if yuu have any other ? feel free to e-mail me direct@  lowaintenough@hotmail.com
