I was thinking of trying this out. https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxes2.asp#2 . My question is does the box need what the airspace would be for 1 sub or for 2 subs? Do these boxes sound good? Thanks for the help.

The enclosure size for isobaric loading is 1/2 what is normally required for 1 woofer.  They sound just like any other sealed system.

So my 10 calls for .5, then I only need .25 for both woofers?

Last one. The 2 10's will sound like 2 10's in the isobaric setup.

First statement: that's correct.  Second statement: I have no idea what you mean.

In answer to your second question: If you have a TOTAL QUANTITY of two 10's, clamshelled (face to face), then you will have the OUTPUT of one 10. You only have one radiating surface. Do the math. The ONLY difference is the volume required by the woofer. One radiating surface, two woofers. Output of one woofer, volume of 1/2 of one woofer.
To get the output of two 10's in isobarik configuration, you need a QUANTITY of four 10's - two clamshelled, and the other two clamshelled - for the radiating surface of two 10's.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
