multiple amps?

how would you wire two big amps. kicker 2500.1 and 650.4. do you run one power wire to each amp from the battery? do i need to add a second battery?

You would take one large power cable all the way back to your trunk (or wherever your amps are located) and then split the wire using a distribution block. You would run three sets of RCAs back (assumming you have that many preouts on your deck). The 4-channel needs two pairs and the sub amp needs one. The remote turn on wire can simply be split at the amps. You do not need an extra battery. An extra battery will only help for parking lot time when the car is off. What you will need is a high output alterantor and doing to the big 3 upgrade (read the sticky). You should also upgrade to a deep cycle battery. With that much power you will need a large alternator. That is going to be the most imortant upgrade you can do.

right i understand how to connect an amp, but since the kicker 2500.1 uses 1/0 awg wire and the 650.4 uses 4awg, i dont think you would split the 1/0 to a 4 awg and a 1/0 awg, would you?

Those amps are pretty beefy. A HO Alt. is a requirement and Big 3 a must. Kicker does recommend additional battery(s) within 50" of a 2500.1. There are times a second battery make sense. This amp will draw 200+ amps. With a large HO Alt a 2nd battery couldn't hurt. The recommended fuse is 300Amps. Not sure what the 650.4 is. You should find a local professional for this level of gear.
