does anyone know how to get the E3 code off of my amp...this code said in the manual,that the amp is in shut down mode...due to excess current,now I installed the amp yesterday,no problems...then today,I was messing with all of the modes...setting up crossovers,etc...then the amp just shut off,r went into protect mode...I have ma audiu 4 channel amp,plus a 3 farret cap...any idea of what I can do....I am getting 13.7 to 14 volts at the amp....when the car is running,and you turn the stereo on you can hear the car idle go up for a second????please help,I am about to throw this amp in the trash

What did you attach to the amp?

due to excess current        not a good thing.

plus a 3 farret cap       beware, farret's have sharp teeth!

I have 4 gage power,120 amp fuse,cap.then that is feeding the amps...LIke I said, I had no problem when I first hooked everything up...then when I started to mess with all the modes...thats when in stop putting out sound...still have power...but it read in the display e3...I have since removed the cap...still the same problem....help please....the last time I had alpine I had problems with there amps....MAYBE,I SHOULD HAVE STAYED AWAY!!!!!
