I have 2 MA Audio MA151XQ 4ohm DVC subs and Sony XM2002GTR amp. The vehicle is a 87 Ford Econoline 150 and i dont know if i should run the subs at 2 or 4 ohms.

well whats the power rating on the subs?  that amp is a two channel amp 400 rms so 200 to each sub im sure that would be at a 2 ohm load for that amp, what kinda box you got?

With DVC 4 ohm drivers, your choice is 1 ohm or 4 ohm.  You need to run that amp at a 4 ohm load.

Option 2 (series/parallel) = 4 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono

ah yea that is right forgot bout it being two dual 4's, yep run it at 4

haha hold up now i remember why i was saying 2 ohm load, its because its a 2 channel amp, so you would wire each channel seperately to each sub going parallel to each sub

i guess im gonna run them each separate the amp says it can handle 250 watts x 2 at 2 ohms and im probably gonna go with a sealed box but may go all out with a vented box
