Hey does anybody know the color of wire to the emergaency parking break wire? Ineed to hook up a dvd player and b4 i used to get away with using ground but thats not working so now i need to find that wire can n e body help? Its for a 2002 chrysler pt cruiser. Looked up daigram on your site and that also was either wrong or his car is different.

He has been doing it  the wrong way for some time.  Now he is asking for help in attempting to follow the rules. 

I have no idea on that vehicle, but I can probably help you find it,  at the pivot point of the brake lever or pedal.  There will be a single wire going to that area.  Use a meter to verify that the wire has ground on it when the brake lever/pedal is engaged. 

Time2,  there is a problem with your signature line, is the comma in the wrong place, or did you put too many zeros??

Yeah Im sorry. It was late and i was in a bad mood. All i payed attention to was "bypassing in the normal way: he did it.

Yes, i am an idiot is right. Look at the e brake at the base. there will be switch with the wire you need.
