hey guy i want to buy a crossover for my sound system its the Clif Designs CDQ3X i want to put 2 pioneers TS-s20 on the front channel of the crossover high pass on my amp. I was wondering what does the frequency multiplier DO 1x-20x does?? helpp

It's a multiplication factor for the setting of that control.  So, if the dial says, say, "100" at 1X that's 100Hz, and at 20X that's 2000Hz.

I assume you are setting up a powered component set?  What's the speakers and what's your target XO frequency for the tweeter?

i am going to put the tweeters on the front high pass channel which the frequency multiplier they are pioneer TS-S20's
