I have a 12" Alpine Type R. I'm looking for the right sealed box for my Type-R. How much internal space should the sealed box have for optimal performance? Thank you for your time :].

Sealed box volume: 0.7-1.0ft^3
Can't be loud then don't have it.

12ft3?? what kind of car you have? 1.0 will be fine? will it be loud outside the car? thanks.

Type R sealed will not be loud period.

Dude if u do a little leg work and type "Alpine type R" in a search bar u should find a gazillion listings with specs. Which will give u all u need to know.

This is the 12ft^3 box with out the sub. 165lbs with out subs in itsealed specs -- posted image.
But anyways If you go with a ported box I can design something for you if you have the LxWxH of the space it is going into. Let me know
