hi

i have a 2006 nissan sunny with an old audio system (original one ) with tape reader! and i want to change it with a pioneer cd mp3 reader. can some help me in the procedure of dismantling original system from the kick panel. and i have also a question : is there any space problème in installing this system.

with the top panel's pocket open, grip the interior with both hands and pull gently toward you the panel will snap off, the bottom there are two finishes one snaps off as you pull towards you like the top panel, the other will require you remove the panel at the gear shifter which will the expose four screws in total remove all four and voila.

the wiring at the top of my head

blue- twelve volts

pink- accesory

BLACK/ white- antenna

front speaker brown and brown white and GREEN/ YELLOW and purple, the rear speakers are on a separate connector right next to the main connector, test with a battery to verify polarity and location.

oh and no problems with mounting space in this car pioneer fits right in, if you wonder why i'm posting all this separately it's because all my posts aren't being submitted and i don't wanna write a long story and it doesn't get submitted and i have to came back and do it all again like i've been doing for the past half hour trying to post the above info. nissan sunny 2006 audio system -- posted image.

thank you very much t&t tech, i'l try to do it this week-end.

an other question : for the connectors on the car , do i need to change them because on the pioneer there is only 2 standard connectors : one for power supply and the second for speekers

if you don't have the wiring harness kit for it you can either tap onto the existing connections in the event you would like to re-install the original radio or you can just cut off the connectors completely, the choice is yours, of course the wiring kit makes life alot easier, jus so you know. cheers.

thank you again t&t tech , i think i will try the first solution, keeping the original installation as you said in the event of reinstalling the original radio.
