I just bought a JVC KD AHD59, everything is hooked up properly (all wires are connected exactly right,) and if I hit the display button or eject the radio comes on, but if I hit the power button nothing happens. Any ideas?

Its in a 2006 gmc canyon without onstar, sorry.

Did you use a volt meter to verify that you have voltage on the red and yellow wires of the radio? When doing so, use the case of the radio for the ground reference for your meter.
