Power Acoustik CPT1-4000D Amp
A month ago my amp stopped working and my battery was getting bad so I pulled out my system until I could get a new battery. The last time it was hooked up I was playing a bass test song and everything went completely out and when I looked at my battery it was sweating water bad. So I bought a yellow top the other day and installed everything back. When I start my car my amp turns on in protection mode and the car dont stay idled, it kept reving up and down. When I went to the back of the car and looked at my sub it was fully flexing out and going back in and out. I went through the steps to see what could be wrong and narrowed it down to my REM. I have everything plugged into my amp but when I touch my REM into the amp (where its supposed to go) it automaticly goes into protection mode. My REM wire is wrapped around a fuse in the fuse box that turns on when the car does. I tried three different fuses to make sure it wasnt the fuse but still nothing works. Can someone please help?

It is not your remote wire.  It is you amplifier.  It is defective, for the sake of your woofer, do not turn it on again.  It NEEDS to be repaired.

Have you used a volt meter to verify that the amp is getting 12 volts across the power and ground terminals of the amplifier?
