Hello, does anyone know if there are any aftermarket headunits for the Verano's yet? I would like to retain the touchscreen display but would really like to swap out the head unit. Right now I have a JL XD600 and a 10W7 but would like to replace and amp the speakers as well. Not to mention, using a line output converter to supply the audio signal to the amp has reduced the overall sound quality of the sub.

Any help would be appreciated.

they havent made an integration adapter for that car yet or a dash kit. either way if they did it likely wouldnt retain the factory touchscreen. but if you have then money you can buy an integration processor like a JL cleansweep or rockford fosgate 3sixty. they are basically line output converters on steroids and give you crossover and EQ functions.

Thanks for the response.  I will have to take a look at those and see what they are exactly.

Here is the one and only thing I found for the Verano...  Issue is that: A) crazy expensive considering it is not a known brand such as Alpine, JVC or even Pioneer for that matter.  B) I called them twice and emailed them as well asking about pre-amp outputs and the rep had no idea what I was referring to either time.

what did you find? ill tell you if its worth anything. i know they make factory fit aftermarket radios for some cars but the verano is a new model and i find it hard to believe that something is already made to replace the radio although the general dash of the verano does look close to a lacrosse im pretty sure its not exact. the only brands i know of that make such plug and play radios are advent and metra, the advent are pretty nice but they are lacking in sound quality features like a good eq and crossovers but otherwise they are pretty nice but also pretty expensive for what they are. for the same price you can get a nice JVC or Alpine with way better features, it just wont look factory.

it doesnt seem horrible at first glance but the biggest problem i see with it is that it's too cheap. and like i mentioned earlier it has only the basic audio controls although it does seem to have RCA outputs at least. i just realized that that company makes a ton of other factory fit radios, maybe ill order one some day to sell in my shop but im still skeptical on the quality because they are just way too cheap and anyone who works on car audio systems will tell you that if something is too cheap to be true then it probably is

Wow you were not kidding those things are amazing!  Would love to get something like that.  The JL is sweet but they repeatedly recommend that you use the supplied JL knob as the new volume knob over the factory head units volume control.  The only issue I have with this is that it is a 4ch max.  I could still use it to supply a clean signal to the amp and eventually the W7, I think it would almost act as a remote bass knob at that point correct?  Would this cause any iterfearance with using the factory volume settings for the rest of the system?

The RF would be great too because my car has a 9 speaker 7 channel audio system and the RF is an 8 channel unit.  However, the Wife would kill me for spending that kind of money.  Because of this I would like to find a way to make the JL work.  That being said, I still would like to replace the interiors and amp them someday... Dang decisions decisions...
