if anyone has blueprints for a dual 10 inch ported box around 1.4 ft each i would buy them. i got 2 type x 10z in a ported 1.1 cu ft box now and they beat. but they call for 1.4 ported and i would love to try and build one

im using jvc av71bt, alpine 3218 eq with a ppi s2000.1 and 2 dvc 4 ohm alpine type x 10z @ 1 ohm for bass. alpine mrp-f600 hertz 5x7 and 4" in front doors and hertz 6x9z in back panels with hertz tweets i put into dash and have 2 4 inch holes cut into back deck with grills covering them and i cut holes in deck to help trunk breathe so i can redo it if theres a better way to port it i just put holes that size bc they were easy and didnt require cutting of metal and were uniform.

well what you are trying to do is a real gamble, because you dont know all of the design specs of the box you are using right now. just because a sub recommends a certain airspace doesnt mean that those are the best/loudest box specs. there are way way more calculations that go into designing a box other than just the raw airspace. if you build a new box without knowing the full specs then it is just as likely that you will lose bass.
