I found a radio mounting kit that was specified for my car, but the radio is too deep. Is there an alternative kit that would fit my car. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is the radio physically too deep to fit, or is the kit preventing it from going all the way back?

The radio backs against part of the heater vent and needs to sit further foreward. I know I have seen install kits similar to what I am looking for, something that would mount the front of the radio further than the stock location. All I need is about 1/2 inch or more.

A couple of suggestions - If you have a heat gun you can re shape the heater vent/duct. Another thing you can do is cut a whole in the duct and then cover it in duct tape giving a 1/2 inch indentation, but either way should give you some more flexibility.
