I have an Audiobahn Amp thats 2,400 watts. I was wondering if it was any good and if it was better to hook it up to 2 alum10q's or 3 of them? I have two of them hooked up so far and it sounds ok. Would it be better to put the third on in?

Funny two of you wondering the same thing with the same name. All that I am gonna say is that the power the qoute is definately an exaggeration. Maybe when they were testing the amp a bolt of lightning struck it.

hay it's not the worst or the best. if you already own it. use it. hook it up and let her rip. see what happens. 2400w is a little high rating, but who cares if you like it, run it. It does not matter what brand you use if it makes you happy thats all that matters. there are a lot of brand names out there some are the very best, some are rock bottom. you will not get more than 3 people on this forum to agree on what is the best anyway. some poeple like rf, some don't, some think audiobahn is the best, some will tell you it's crap. and so on, and so on, and so on..............just make sure the sub power ratings(rms rating) matches as close as you can to the amps rms power rating. good luck with your project.

Personally I like audiobahn. And as far as your setup goes. Thre alumq tens is about perfect. Make sure you have the 6 ohm dvc and wire the subs in parallel and then the subs to amp parallel. I think that's right. If it's the 2300 hct three tens is perfect. I'm going to hook up three to a 1500 hct. With the 6 ohm voice coil you run the subs in parallel to 3 ohms then the three subs together in parallel to 1 ohm bridged at your amp for 2400 watts rms. The speakers should handle 800 rms a piece so it about perfect.

Do me a favor and tell me what kind of car it's going in and whether it sounds good.

Oh yeah. Make sure I had the amp right. If it's older make sure it's one ohm stable.

Just make sure your amp is one ohm stable if it's not a hct2300

I would only use this setup temporarily and upgrade to something way better than audibahn for your amp. Why would you buy nice Eclipse subs and use an amp that isnt even close to its quality.

Like I said I personally like audiobahn, but I think the subs he has are audiobahn alum10qs. If there eclipse then I haven't looked up any info on them and don't how many or how you should wire them.
