I installed a PIoneer deck in my in-laws 91 Acclaim, all the spaekers are hooked up, but it is real low volume, almost like there is a MUTE or ATTENTUATOR on the deck but there isn't one (that I can find) anyways there were a few other wires from/to the factory head unit that are not installed, I am wondering if there is some wire that should be hoked up that isn't?????

Hooked up are the 8 speaker wires, ground, power and accesory

Whats up????

Shawn

Thank you

I don’t have a wiring diagram for that vehicle, but it sounds like it may have a factory amp. If it dose you need to hook up the remote wire Blue/white from the headunit to the +12 volt Switched power on the factory amp. That will allow the factory amplifier to turn on and amplify the signal from the headunit.
