here is the system i'm plannig to get

 alpine head unit Cda

a pair of 6 1/2 Infinity Kappa 63.5i 3 ways up front in my doors

a pair of 6x9 Infinity Kappa 692.5i 2 ways in my rear

and a  4 channel fosgate punch  amp to push them  400watts rms 4x100 4 ohms

then a Kicker L5 12" sub powered by Jbl 600.1

both pairs of the infinity speakers come with a external crovsser (Computer-Optimized 18 dB / octave Outboard Crossover )

do these crossovers perform well

would my system sound better with an external 3 way electronic crossover added

or the ones that come with infinity will be sufficient

please need opinions

Use the crossovers that came with the speakers. They work the best because they were made specifically for that speaker. You shouldnt need an external 3 way crossover unless your head-unit has only 1 set of preamp outputs or if you want to seperate the signal going to 3 different amps(1 for highs, 1 for mids, and 1 or more for the subs). Unless you want to do any of the above you dont need one. Also since you already have 3 ways up front, which should be plenty of highs, then you shouldnt need three ways in back also. Besides, if to much sound comes from the rear it ruins your imaging up front. 6 X 9s are for rear fill usually. Sounds like a pretty good system. Hope it turns out well!

Stinger's SWK4D wiring kit has all of the power and ground cable you will need plus a distrubution block. Speaker wire and rca cables usually dont come with multi amp wiring kits because the manufacture dosnt know how many or what lengths you need. So.. you will need at least 2 Hyper or Nitro rca cables and some pro or custom pro speaker wire.

Stinger makes excellent products. Yes their speaker wire is good! Some 14 gauge wire should be fine for your subs and 14 or 16 for your speakers.
