Hey guys:

Is the only way to remove a ford deck is with a special tool or is there some other way (95 Mustang)??

Any coathanger or steel wire that will fit into the four hole of the headunit will do. However, with the stereo removal tool you are done with removing the headunit out in two minutes. The tool will cost you no more than $10. Why do it the hard way? Time, after all is money.

i believe the tool costs like$4 at walmart.

if thare is a blauplunket dealor in your area ask them for a set of deck keys thay use the same keys as the factory ford and thay might just give them to you

bend a coat hanger with a pair of pliers. damn you guys would buy snow if you were eskimos. save your 4 bucks for a 40 oz. or a couple 22's.

At least with the keys you are sure not to spring the radio where you have to take apart the dash to get to it.

I HAVE USED 4/ 6 PENNY NAILS TO PULL OUT FORD STOCK RADIOS AND IT WORKS WELL AND EASY.....

the louder the better !!!!!!

go to wal-mart or murray's, only $4.

use the right tool for the job, it just makes it a @#$% of alot easier! Ford deck removal -- posted image.

do it right the first time....less warranty work=more money!:)

yep walmart has them, or i will even let idiots come into the shop and i will pull a radio for them for $5 so hush hush, if they knew they could get the groove tool i have for $4 they would be pissed
