I was wondering if someone could post the wiring colors for the stereo steering wheel controls, I just installed a new headunit and miss my controls03 explorer steering wheel -- posted image.  I purchased the Pacs controller and am hoping to splice in at the radios wire harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated

the way it works is that it has a little transmitter that sends a signal to the aftermarket headunit.  But the new headunit must have a wireless remote capability.

As far as hooking it up, here is a link to the installation instruction for the prepheral steering wheel module. take a look at it, it might help! it lists up to 2002. u'll need adobe to open it!

It's just one wire you hook up and it should be in the installation instructions. If not give PAC a call.
