I have 2 JL15W6's duel 6ohm I wanna build a sweet box but dont wanna waste the time. I have made a sealed box for my kenwood 12's and it pounded awsome. I was wondering what dimensions I should make the box, and should i put them in seperate cabnits in the box. I was told 1.5 cubic feet each.
They will be getting powered by a PPI pc2150 600wrms @ 4 ohms but they will have to run at 6 ohm. unless I do a stereo config then i can bring the amp to 2 ohm but the subs will have to run 3 ohm each.
Can anyone help me with these questions please.
PS. I listen to alot of rap so I need the best possible bass

If you wire the subs in parrel than you have to run the amp in 3 ohm stereo since the amp wont run in 1.5 ohm mono. Well 3 ohm stereo is the same as 6 ohm mono so either way is gonna give the same results. as far as box specs go, I dont know what kinda car you have but if you listen to rap and want as much bass as possible I would do a ported box and tune it low. Reason being it will give you more rumble and it will make it so your subs need less power to make the same amount of sound in a sealed box. Basiclly what it comes down to is since you arent gonna have any where near the amount of power you should for those subs this configuration is gonna give you the most bass for your situation. Check the JL website for exact box specs.
