There is a buy & sell forum here.  Look over to the left...
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I bought 2 Alpine 12 inch subwoofers and wanted to sell both. My friend wants one so if you want the other, let me know. It is in the original Factory Alpine Box. I just am giving up on my sound system which I purchased new and wasted a whole lot of money. I just want my trunk space back so I rather sell them. If you want to see what system I setup, check this:

I have my "All-Alpine" setup in a Toyota Highlander 03. The subs pound very hard but I am looking for quality rather than quantity. I am not pleased with the quality of the bass. If I turn the volume half way, it would probaly be too much for people in my vehicle. The amp for the sub is a digital one. I don't know what I did wrong. you're right, its not a good idea to mix and match unless the specs are matching well. Have you looked at Crutchfield? They have good stuff.

usually people buy amps rated on the power of the subs.what i do is i buy a bigger amp for the subs and turn the amp down, so it dosn't run at maxium and sound distorted ,i dont know if that will relate to ur problem.i herd those subs are good. i dont know what kind of power you have, sounds like it would be fine to me, but if you wanna sell them i can ask around for you. how much are you asking? or you can put it on e bay, might be able to get more than what ur asking.

Yesterday I was driving around with my windows rolled down and playing an old Elvis Presley CD (with lots of bass and very clean/crisp/clear vocals). Had my volume turned just about 30 percent. People almost everywhere where I stopped or drove slowly (near stop-lights) were turning their heads to my car. I wonder if it was the Elvis songs or Bass that did that.

have u tryed hooking an e.q up to ur car. it will help alot with sound quality what ur looking for.my friend just installed one and he says it sounds pro,he has 3 alpine type s..u can turn down bass or whatever you want.to do with your sound. some songs do make a differnce to sound quality as well, depends on if your playing a burn c.d or a regular c.d..the elvis song had the right sound to go with it. also the bass i think turned the heads..do u still have two of ur alpine hooked up right now?
