I was at a car audio shop over the weekend and got a look at the new Kikcer SoloX 18. This thing is crazy huge!! I could barely lift it, I think the magnet itself is as big as one of my whole subs. I talked to a guy at the shop, the sub can handle 10,000 watts!! It cost almost $1500, and it needs 10 cubic feet of space in a box. The shop has sold three so far. Does anyone here own, or have heard these subs? The shop doesnt have one hooked up becasue of the huge enclosure size.

i've seen one as well, dont know how many the store had sold, but i can tell you it was a hot gossip talk for kids walking by it when i was in there one day (they were having a sale and it was packed, and you could hear the chatter about everyone saying, oh this would rock, thats better ect.. lol)
is that a 10cuft ported or sealed? if it were sealed (which i doubt) imagine a ported *shudders*

The Solo Baric 18" is a sick subwoofer, the amount of air the thing displaces is enough to give your heart arrithmea. If I had the money I would absolutely buy that thing and turn the entire cargo area of my Cherokee into a box. Sick, sick bass.

I hate to shoot this down, and I am actually a kicker fan, but I heard a pair in a blazer in a ported wall. They ran a legit 5000w RMS to each driver and it was loud, but not near as loud as it should have been. If I remeber right I think it barley broke 150. Something like 150.3 or something to that effect. Looks super impressive but I just was expecting more out of it.
