HPF's and Subwoofer ?

I have a Pioneer DEHP8600 with an Alpine MRDM300 and one 12" Type E. Im trying to mess with the settings on the head unit and i cant figure out how to push the sub more, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Nothing recommended at the HU level.  All you could do is distort with higher-than-flat bass settings.  The key is to look at the lack of bass as a problem either in the enclosure (type, volume, quality,etc.), impedance load on the amp, amp power output, amp power input, placement and direction of the sub box......

...as you can see, a lot of places other than the deck settings.
