strange noises

Sounds like induced noise from the blower unit.  Try to relocate your signal wiring coming out of the deck...possibly just a few inches might stop the induction.

I hope so, it is a bit of a mess back there though, the deck has an external dc-dc converter, could that produce more induction. thanks  

I don't believe so.  I think the blower unit is creating a magnetic field that the signal wires pass through.  It sounds like it's coming from the fan (because the noise is the same freq as the fan) but is coming from the front speakers instead, which play that freq level.  Or, the signal wires are running parallel with the wiring that feeds the blower.

Does sound like you need to move the wires around a bit. I had a similar problem, only it was the Vehicle's Computer that was causing the noise. Re-routing the cables a few inches away solved the problem. If space is an issue for working back there, consider removing parts in the dash, like the climate control, or remove the entire dash itself. It can be frustrating, but at least you'll have better access to re-organize the wires.~wayland
