I just recently upgraded my subs to:
-Two 12" Directed 212D's (Dual voice coil 500w peak/300w continuous)
-Directed 750d Monoblock amp (750w DPR, 275w RMS @ 4 ohm)
-One 1 Farad Directed Cap
It's my first experience with both dual voice coils and caps, everything seems to be working, just wondering if I wired the voice coils properly.. I basically just jumped them together in parallel.. Meaning after my input wire came to the first set of inputs I jumped the negative across to the other side of the sub and the same with the positive.
Is this right? haha, sorry for the newbie question, no wiring instructions were included, should I go in series with the other sub? Or in series on each sub instead of parallel?
Thanks for the help guys.

You're OK with both VCs on each sub in parallel and then both subs in parallel to the amp for a net 1-ohm load.  Your amp is 1-ohm stable and will product 600 watts at 1 ohm, and your subs are rated for 300 watts each.  Should be fine as long as you set the amp gain properly to match your head unit.  I'd sell the cap on eBay.
