On the box it says the stero accepts a 4 amp fuse but would it be possible for me to use a 3 amp fuse and also if i do use a 3 amp fuse instead, what may happen with my stero
No security system can beat the tow truck :(

you might blow fuses, it wont hurt your stereo,      what type of stereo is this?     that seams really really small

If you put a 3 amp fuse in place of a 4 amp fuse, nothing will happen to the stereo, but the fuse COULD blow before it really needs to as a protection measure. It is perfectly safe to do what you are suggesting, but "nuisance blowing" becomes a real possibility. Can you not find a 4 amp fuse anywhere, or what? Why are you asking about this?
