10 in jl audio subs enclosures

would a isobaric eight order enclosure work well in a honda civic, if not what would be the best choice? any info would be greatly appreciated.

The 10W6 should be sealed.  The 10W3V_ can be either sealed or vented.  No JL sub should be used in a bandpass enclosure.  An isobaric enclosure allows you to cut down on box volume at the expense of using an additional driver to do it.  Most people feel that the additional cost of using two drivers to get the output of one is not worth the space savings of using isobaric...but there are cases where this is critical.  It's usually not a concern in a Civic.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

what type of isobaric enclosure do u recommend or should i jus build a rec. sealed enclosure

I believe he was saying that you should possibly consider avoiding the isobaric short of a really good reason like, well, your trunk barely exists or something.
