hello peolpez    i  have a noob question. how small can a box be to be ported?

do you think that 1.2 cubic ft  is enough to go ported.  because i have a 1 cubic ft box sealed and wanted to go ported but they told me that the box was too small to go ported.

thanks in advance for your advice.

It's not a matter of that, it's whether or not it is to the mfg. specs. My guess is no. You need to get the specs other wise you will have terrible results.
What subs?

I've built boxes that are ported and are less than 0.1 cubic feet.  So as dwarren said, it depends on the speaker you're talking about.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

You can't just take a sealed box and throw in ports if thats what your asking. Well, not for the most part.
