i am running 4 12 inch single voice coil (4 ohm) sub woofers in a sealed box on a 2 channel amplifier the amp is 2 ohm stable do anyone know of a way to wire the woofers at 2 ohm load and not 4 ohm or a way to get the most power out of my amp the amp is a interfire 2950c it is a 1000 watts 550 watts rms help please
if its not broke dont fix it

Sure.  That amp is stable at 2 ohms per channel, and stable at 4 ohms with a bridged load.  Wire your four subs so that you come to a final 4 ohm impedance and bridge across the channels.  The amp will output its most power into a 4 ohm bridged load, which is 550 watts RMS / 1000 watts peak.

Wire two of the subs in series, and the other two in series.  Then connect the pairs in parallel for 4 ohms.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

right now i have them ran parallel into each channel how many ohms is the amp running i was wondering i s there to get it down to 2 ohms
if its not broke dont fix it

The diagram above WILL give you 2 ohms - PER CHANNEL (if bridged).
If your amp is not bridgeable, then use this diagram...
