I am building custom door panels to hold my 6-1/2 in mid drivers.  What should I consider when it comes to sealed vs. vented enclosure for these speakers?

Thanks

What kind of speakers are they?  Do you have the T/S parameters for them?

They are some old alpine DD Drives.  I don't have the data on them.  But soon I plan to replace them with some Infinity Kappa's.

You shouldn't need an enclosure for those speakers.

Okay, but I do need to build something to hold them.  Should I just leave the back of the speaker open? what about the ones in the rear of the car,  what kind of difference am I going to see if they are enclosed or if the backs of the speakers are just open?  None?

Also, thanks for your help.  I usually get a lot more replies to questions on here.
