1) I recently bought a Phoenix 4 gauge wiring kit, it has everything I need including 16ft. twisted interconnects. I was wondering how much difference a expensive pair of interconnects would make and if these Phoenix interconnects are good enough for me to use to connect to a Punch 500watt amp powering two 10 inch kicker comp subs.
2) I also need to know if another amp I have (a 4 channel amp) has to have two interconnects attached to it. I am a new installer. Thanks.

1) no....save your money....if you design a high end SQ system with something more than a punch 500....maybe cinsider the cable upgrade

2) yes it need to have both sets of inputs fed...otherwise its just gonna play from 2 of the 4 channels  look at the inputs. Labeled front and rear, now look at the outputs they are (or should be) labeled the same
