Alright. Sometimes i can get into my car after it has set all night and my rear view mirror lights (map light) and my dome lights will both work.. sometimes the rear view wont work.. Like saturday night i got into my car my RV lights weren't working. pull my car out of the garage.. sat in my car for about 5-10mins jammin to some tunes.. then i pushed the button.. it turned on. on few occasions the dome light doesnt work and the mirror light does.

any ideas? hard to fix?

Sounds like you have an intermittent short in your electrical system. Or maybe a moisture-related issue. Probably very hard to find, and probably will get worse if you don't find it.

It would help if you mentioned the vehicle year, make and model. Some vehicles have common problems that someone may know of.
